On January 7, 2019, Yudong Wang, director of International Peace Maternity & Child Health Hospital of China welfare institute (IPMCH), accompanied Academician Chen Yazhu, honorary Dean of School of Biomedical Engineering, Shanghai Jiaotong University, and Professor Jingfeng Bai, vice president of School of Biomedical Engineering, Shanghai Jiaotong University, directed the clinical work of SUA-I HIFU system.

The clinical research project is supported by Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. The treatment system is developed by Zhonghui medical technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, in cooperation with Academician Chen Yazhu's team, along with doctors and engineers from well-known tertiary hospitals in East China, and multi-center clinical research is conducted in three hospitals at the same time.

Since October 23, 2018, the International Peace Maternity & Child Health Hospital of China welfare institute (IPMCH) has been using the SUA-I HIFU system for HIFU treatment. So far all patients have been ablated with remarkable results and no adverse events have occurred. After carefully listening to the report, academician Chen highly praised the clinical work and provided guidance for it.
